One drop brings a universe of flavor into your world.

"Bitters" are infusions of herbs, roots, flowers, and barks in alcohol used to add flavor and help stimulate digestion - used as aperitifs, in cocktails, in water, or taken drop by drop medicinally. Flavorful bitters can be a double whammy; find out how a delicious addition to a cocktail can pack a medicinal punch! In this class with Andrea of Edible Alchemy, learn how to make tinctures & infusions with alcohol or vinegar bases out of local and global plants. Learn the basics of flavor blending & taste a few Edible Alchemy blends to pick apart how flavors meld together to satisfy all aspects of the tongue. We'll craft a cocktail punch together with EA bitters & sip on it while everyone creates their own blends from pre-infused 'simples' (one herb infusions) to take home.

Then, leave to share your knowledge of bitters round tables all over & start your own herbal bitter kitchen apothecary!

Edible Alchemy loves to upcycle bottles - please bring clean bottles with lids of any size and shape for us to repurpose!
