Event Overview
In this class we will be cooking Seitan Piccata, a wonderful twist on the traditional chicken version.
This caper filled lemon meal will be hearty enough to fill you up without extending your waistline. The class will explore different varieties of seitan and discuss what makes a quality seitan dish.
We will also make vegan mashed potatoes to accompany the main dish. Each student will leave with 1-2 servings of each item to take home and enjoy as well as a copy of the recipes we used so you can recreate it in your own kitchen.
All ingredients and cooking items supplied.

I've been a vegan for ten years and have spent the past 4 years cooking vegan meals for private families. My meals range from family-friendly meals that the kids will love, to more sophisticated meals for the refined palate. One of my favorite pastimes is veganizing regular recipes!
