Event Overview

Give yourself the gift of creativity and create a unique gift to give for the holidays!

You will create a mosaic panel using art glass as your material, glued onto a 12x12" plexiglas sheet. The plexiglass will be   placed over a photo or art print of your choice to use as a template or use prints that I have in the studio.  In this way you can follow your template or abstract it with your own vision. This takes a little time and concentration so we will have 2 classes to have time to finish. I have all the tools, adhesives and many colors of glass to work with. You will create a luminous stained glass piece to hang in the light and admire or give as a spectacular handmade gift.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Francine has taught this particular project to young adults at Marwen Art School and adults in her private mosaic classes at her studio. She appreciates that having a template to follow relieves the anxiety of subject matter and allows a free flow of creativity during the mosaic process. Her studio is full of gorgeous, colorful art glass to use and her belief that creativity lives in everyone is reflected in her supportive teaching style. Be creative, have fun and make something beautiful, it's good for the soul....this is Francine's mantra.
