Event Overview
Jump on the mason jar band wagon and learn how to select and arrange flowers for a fresh and cheerful arrangement. Instruction will be provided on basic flower care, vase arranging, color theory and composition. Class will focus on using seasonal blooms and will vary throughout the year. We will also have a variety of finishing options for our mason jar vases.
This class is perfect for the beginner arranger as well as the more advanced who want to work with blooms you don't always find at your local Trader Joe's :)
Looking for a group event for a shower or bachelorette? Consider this class.
Class will be held at my home studio with a maximum class size of 10 students to assure one on one coaching.
Cost of class includes: instruction, use of tools, and for you to keep: wide mouth Ball mason jar and a variety of blooms/greens for arranging.
What to Bring
If you have any shears, flower snippers, etc. feel free to bring them.

Flowers, mason jars and flower shears will be provided.

Chelsey is following in the footsteps of her Grandmother who ran her own small floral business in Minneapolis, MN. In 2015 Chelsey launched Petal and Pistil - a Chicago based floral design company -where she does design consultation, planning, designing and execution for intimate weddings and events.
She fell in love with Ikebana when she was living in Seattle and continues her practice of this Japanese approach to flowers.
