Event Overview

Why draw one person when you can draw two? We're bringing together two of our best models to give us dramatic poses.

We'll be pulling scenes from a hat for them to create for us. Will it be an over-the-top confrontation, telenovela-style? Will it be a scene of enduring beauty from Greek myth? Will it be a battle between super-powered champions?

Our two clothed models will provide five long poses, preceded by three short warm-up poses. You will get to add ideas to the hat, so start thinking about how you want the models to pose. Get creative and have fun with it! Bring any paper and drawing materials you like. All styles and skill levels are welcome!

Dean studied Fine Art at Columbia College Chicago, where he earned his Bachelor Degree. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Publishers Resource Center (ChiPRC) and is its Arts Coordinator. He is a co-founder of Northside Independent Artists (NIA), which produces and curates art shows. Dean’s commissions include numerous portrait paintings, as well as postcard designs for theater companies TUTA and Darknight Theatrical Productions; flyer designs for rock band Arch Visceral Parlor and DJ Elle Madelyn; logo designs for Souls Journey Life Coaching and Athletic Souls; and illustrations for author John Wawrzaszek.
