I will teach where good ideas come from all the way to the business pitch leading to investor funding.

The learning objectives are:

Definitions of innovation and leadership. All successful business ideas come from solving an important problem and knowing how to lead the enterprise.

Change is the source of ALL entrepreneurial ideas and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Stephen (Steve) A. Di Biase, Ph.D., is President and owner of Premier Insights, LLC, an executive advisory consultancy and co-founder of VentureForge, LLC, a boutique fund raising firm for technology start-ups. He has served in executive roles for the past 35 years and is an accomplished inventor and authored 6 books on innovation. He has led global organizations of 1000 people, managed budgets of $120 MM and has successfully launched several new businesses where he was accountable for the full P&L.
Steve is an inventor with more than 25 patents; a Vistage Chair qualified to advise CEOs through Peer Advisory Boards and an adjunct professor at Benedictine University where he teaches Applied Innovation and Organizational Design. He has been a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship and innovation at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and has been honored by The Pennsylvania State University College of Science with its 2007 Distinguished Alumni Award.
He is also a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Mt. Union College and the Industrial Research Institute and sits on the Science Advisory Board for The Pennsylvania State University. He has served as chairman of The Lubrizol Foundation Scholarship Committee, Chairman of the Northeastern Ohio Section of the American Chemical Society, Board member of the Cleveland Area Research Directors (CARD) and in The Boy Scouts of America where he served in a variety of posts.
