MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

What began as a curiosity has become an adventure in my own backyard.

I wrote the Honorary Chicago Guidebook at the insistence of friends and family who listened to the stories I researched about the people honored by the brown honorary signs all over Chicago.

I have been interviewed many times as the expert on Chicago's Honorary Streets. Honorary Chicago has been featured in article in the Arts and Entertainment section of the Chicago Tribune, WGN Radio, and the Chicago History Museum.

I have been living in Chicago more than 15 years and have a Masters Degree from the University of Chicago. I was inspired by the stories I found, and I love Chicago all the more for it.
