Event Overview

Ever thought to yourself, “Come on. What’s so great about the Mona Lisa and that so-called mysterious smile of hers?” You have?! Then this is the class for you!

During this one-hour class, you'll take a tour of Leonardo da Vinci’s creative process, stopping to look at other, similar works that he painted, and considering the reasons why this particular painting of his gets so much attention over others that are just as awesome.

Jill studied art history at the Clark Art Institute, Williams College, and Stanford University, and worked as a lecturer and editor at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Having Dabbled in figurative oil painting, she brings a unique perspective to the often dry and dusty world of art history.
