ABOUT THIS EVENT
Event Category

Event Overview

Building with LEGO bricks was fun as a kid, but it's even more fun as an adult. Get in touch with your inner LEGO geek and create a fun LEGO stop-motion animation you can show to your friends.

Dave Pickett, author of The LEGO Animation Book, will be bringing his animation know-how as well as his personal collection of LEGO bricks and mini-figures. The price also includes one drink ticket for Volumes Bookcafe. All you need to bring is a smartphone (and money for additional drinks).

With both Halloween and season 2 of Stranger Things approaching, we will be focusing on making spooky films. Dave will bring all his LEGO monsters and supernatural mini-figures (Ghostbusters, Buffy, etc.) to cast in your film.
