Event Overview

The focus of this class is to create and re-create print perfect files for output to films OR direct to screen software for screen-printing.

With over 5 years of experience in the apparel decoration field, I have utilized new and improving software and machinery to streamline graphic design methods that are used for preparing screened art. I currently output between 80 and 120 jobs per day. My method is perfect for quick, accurate, and top quality art preparation. This is necessary because the appearance of screen-printed garments relies largely on correct preparation of artwork as well as a paralleled understanding of outputting images to screens.

This class is for artists using or planning to use Adobe Illustrator CS 6 or CC to create artwork for screen-printing. Whether preparing art files for RIP software to Film, or direct to screen files used for equipment such as the I-Image, these techniques work. This class would benefit 1st and 2nd year screen-printing graphic designers and production artists or those who have recently upgraded their Illustrator software.
